The short version
applymd.app is a planning tool for medical school applicants, operated by Rezumab LLC. The numbers it produces are statistical estimates, not predictions or guarantees - use them to inform your list, not to decide it for you. We're not affiliated with any medical school or admissions organization. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who can use applymd
You may use the Service if you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is built for applicants to MD and DO medical schools in the United States and Canada.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private and for everything that happens on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email danny@rezumab.app and we'll help you secure it.
What applymd is, and isn't
- It is a calculator and school-list workspace. The per-school probabilities are estimates produced by a statistical model fit to publicly reported admissions data. They reflect average outcomes for applicants with similar stats; they do not predict any individual decision.
- It isn't admissions advice. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sourced from any medical school or admissions organization. It isn't a substitute for talking to a pre-med advisor or the admissions offices you're applying to.
Application decisions - where to apply, where to interview, where to enroll - are yours. We make no representation about your likelihood of admission to any specific school.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service in bulk;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying model parameters or training data;
- misrepresent your identity, stats, or eligibility;
- interfere with the Service's operation, attempt to break security, or use it to send spam or malicious content;
- resell or relicense the Service or its outputs without our written permission.
Your content
The data you enter - your MCAT, GPA, residency, school list, course history - is yours. You grant Rezumab LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process it as needed to operate the Service for you, and to use it in aggregated and de-identified form to improve the Service and produce research-style content (see our Privacy Policy for detail).
Our content
The Service - including the model, the calibration code, the site design, the copy, the logo, and the underlying schemas. is owned by Rezumab LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for its intended purpose.
School names, logos, and admissions data referenced in the Service belong to their respective schools. We use them under fair use, for informational and educational purposes.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the estimates it produces will be accurate for your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rezumab LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) US$50.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing danny@rezumab.app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Your content license, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Governing law) survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you and we both consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
